Perspective Blog

Read the first three paragraphs of Du Bois's Souls of Black Folk.
1.  What does he say is the big unasked question?  Why are they unasked?
2.  What does he say all African Americans are behind and causes contempt?
3.  How did he say the sky got bluer for him?
4.  Was he happy with staying on his side?
5.  What happens to some African Americans due to being separate from whites?
6.  How does Du Bois say all minorities end up viewing themselves?  What about their souls?
